Pathway perspectives: Animal Care

Do you love animals more than people? We know how you feel! That’s why we’ve developed an animal care pathway designed for animal lovers who are passionate about a career as a vet, dog groomer, marine biologist, animal nutritionist, conservationist…

Learners on the animal care pathway go over to Grimsby Institute’s animal care department on our Nunsthorpe campus every week. There, learners are taught by industry professionals, covering a syllabus that allows learners to:

  • Develop practical skills to work with a range of animals
  • Get first-hand experience working with sheep, goats, birds, meerkats, skunks, reptiles and more!
  • Learn in specialist facilities
  • Understand the realities of working in the industry in order to guide you towards a career that best suits you

If you have a genuine love for animals you will find a career working with animals is both enriching and rewarding and can provide employment opportunities locally, nationally and around the world.

Sound good to you? The good news is, we still have places available on our pathway for 2020!
