Ela is a fantastic role model, and this achievement reflects her commitment and perseverance.”
Ela spoke of the personal significance of the award, saying:
“Receiving this award means so much more than recognising my academic achievements. It reflects the hard work, resilience and confidence I have developed, as well as the support I have received along the way. At 14, I decided I wanted to become a doctor, and since then I have worked hard to achieve my goals. I would like to say a special thank you to Taylor for her guidance, encouragementand belief in me throughout my NCFE courses. I hope my journey shows other young people that with determination, support and self-belief, anything is possible.”
Rob Rowe, Head of Year 11, added:
“It has been an absolute pleasure to have Ela as a student at The Academy Grimsby for the last two years. She is one of the most hardworking, conscientious and driven learners I have ever come across. Her commitment to achieving her best is unmatched. Ela has consistently excelled in all aspects of school life, taking on extra responsibilities, completing additional self-taught GCSEs and mentoring her peers. This award is fully deserved, and I am incredibly proud of everything she has achieved.”
Ela’s success reflects not only her personal determination but also the supportive learning environment fostered at The Academy Grimsby. Her achievement stands as an inspiration to her peers and the wider community, demonstrating what can be accomplished through hard work and ambition.
